CITC Starhazer

The new Starhazer II has DMX on-board, superior insulation for whisper quiet operation, cycle/direct/ remote operation, double the output of the previous StarHazer, a Seven Filter System, and a Dual Opening for far and wide coverage.

The DMX 512 allows control from a light board, only using one channel. It also has a convenient 5-pin XLR “In” and “Send” feature for setting up other units on the same DMX line. Also included is the 25’ remote control featuring buttons which allow either manual “on” and “off” operation, or “timed” operation of 0-60 seconds “on” or 0-4 minutes “off”. If you want the convenience of testing the unit without the controls, StarHazer II DMX now comes with a control switch that allows for direct power. This is a great feature for rental companies that don’t want to send out the remote control units.

StarHazer II DMX purrs. It has been double insulated, has shock absorbing motor mounts, insulated baffles, a sound deadening intake filter and filter covers on the intake fans. No more need to push the hazer far away so you don’t hear the sound of the compressor. No heat is used to run this machine.

Talk about a clean machine! This baby has not one, not two, but seven filters that keep every aspect of the unit free from debris. CITC states that this results in the absolute cleanest oil-based haze on the market today.

A Dual Opening in front allows for two layers of output. Due to an inside splitter, the haze coming out of the top half goes the distance; the bottom spreads wide. The back of the machine has extended panels that protect the connectors from damage.
